I ordered this freezer because I have an older dog that has kidney issues and started making her dog food since the cans are over $3 each. She loves the food I make her but I wanted to be able to make a large amount and freeze it since it's so time consuming to make. In the past I've had a 5.1cu freezer for less than $200 but with the corona virus and everyone cooking and freezing prices have gone up due to demand. I finally decided to order this even though it was $100 over the price of the larger one I used to have. It really is a nice size and more than enough room for me and my pooch. The only thing that could be improved is the basket. It's just a little bit larger then the width of the lip that holds it so if you put very much in it it falls (I only put in 3 freezer bags of peaches). I'm going to get a set of pliers and see if I can't bend the basket to make it sit on the lip a little more so it's not constantly falling. Other than that it works great and I love it!
