The price was extremely reasonable. Back in January I had shopped for freezers this size, and ended up purchasing a 2.1 cubic foot freezer for $245, which was a very good price at that time, and I remember noticing that 3.0 cubic foot upright freezers at that time were going for about $345.00 and up. So this was a really great deal at $199.00 with free Prime shipping.

I’ve been looking for a freezer for several weeks now – I even contacted two local appliance stores, and was told by both stores that there are NO STOCKS of freezers in the U.S. or even WORLDWIDE, at the moment. They said that most freezers were bought out overseas at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, and the remainder quickly sold out in the U.S. once the virus reached our shores. 

They said that there would be no freezers in stock anywhere in the U.S. for at least another three months, and even then they will sell out quickly. So, I was yet again doing a fruitless Google search for freezers, when this freezer popped up as available at Amazon.com – exactly the size I was looking for, which is the size that is hardest to find right now.

I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten one, as they sold out within 5 minutes of my finding the listing on Amazon. The freezer arrived with no dents or dings, works great, and is the perfect size. Very happy with my purchase!
